Should I wear the pendant at night or when I am bathing?
Absolutely! We encourage you to always keep the waterproof pendant on. Should you fall out of bed or slip in the tub, you can get help.
What if I push the button by mistake?
When the operator asks if you need help, simply tell them you are ok.
Do I talk into the pendant?
No. The only thing the pendant does is activate the console.
What if the operator cannot hear me?
Once the signal is received, someone will check on you to make sure you are ok, even if the operator cannot hear you.
What if the power goes out?
Your Personal Response System has a rechargeable back-up battery that provides uninterrupted service.
Do I have to test anything?
This equipment will test itself every week. We encourage you to test it whenever you want for your own peace of mind.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No! You can try it for a day or keep it for years. There is no charge for deactivation.
How long does it take to install?
It only takes 20 - 30 minutes to install and to test the equipment
How soon can someone come out to hook one up?
We can come out within 1 working day of your request, or at your convenience.
